If you have some essential oils - a couple of drops of lavender oil in some warm water. Soak a cotton ball in it and wipe over eye lid (from corner outwards). Make sure you use fresh cotton ball for each eye. Do it as many times as possible during the day. Lavender oil is antibacterial but gentle enough to use on eyes. I used on Oliver when he had gunky eyes when he was a week old, and cleared it up pretty quickly. Just make sure that it is an essential oil - like Sunspirit or Oil Garden etc not just a fragrant oil as that wouldn't work. Usually about $15 a bottle.
I second the breastmilk! Find someone willing to express just 10ml sort of thing, and use a cotton ball :) Even check if anyone from Human Milk 4 Human Babies is willing, it's incredible how quickly it clears up!
clean her eyes with tea... or breast milk if you can find a willing participant lol
